Nations Skate Youth Book

Nations Skate Youth is creating a book dedicated to the next generation of youth across Turtle Island and beyond to be published this year.

Nations would like to share our existence with everyone by creating the first book of its kind.

The main objective is to showcase Indigenous skateboarding, art, music, and let’s not forget the fashion/companies who are making a difference in our communities.

By publishing this book, Nations is creating an opportunity to involve youth and allow them to be creative and to be part of something special.

Apply to be part of the photography mentor program.

If you are an aspiring photographer and don't have camera gear no problem! we will be providing camera gear for 8 individuals.

There will be four camera packages  that will be mailed to the youth for a 2-month period.

1. April 15th – June 15th, 2022

2. June 20th – August 20th, 2022

In total 8 youth will be picked for this camera mentor program.

Youth will have access to mentors who will provide support and give advice during this project.

We have 50 disposable cameras available and would love to use the photos for the inside covers of the book. Through your images and stories, we want the youth to show the world where they come from and what inspires them.
